In a bleak future, astronomers uncover the solar system's long-speculated ninth planet, sparking an unparalleled space race, not among nations, but between two colossal corporations vying for dominance. Each aims to be the first to send probes into the abyss beyond Neptune, with retrieving samples proving to be a challenge in itself. A research station on Jupiter's Ganymede, the ninth planet, goes dark. Soil samples, corporate power plays, and the fate of Earth hang in the balance.
