From the Manufacturer Classic 1930s-design negative stagger biplane, Beech Model SD17S fit with Pratt and Whitney R-985 Wasp Junior engine, Hamilton Standard propeller and EDO floats. Kit features engraved panel lines and appropriate fabric-over-frame effects, well appointed cockpit and cabin interior, separately molded cabin door, fully rendered multi-part radial engine, filigree elevator balances and venture, new tool twin-float undercarriage, beaching wheels, ventral empennage stabilizer, injection-molded clear parts and rigging diagram. Decals for 3 aircraft: USAAF 'Yellow 5' of the 28th Composite Group, Alaska, 1941; USAAF 'KA-08' of the 1st Air Base Group, Langley Field, 1938 and ex-Canadian CF-BIF impressed into the USAAF/RAAF Mixed Fighter Group, Brisbane, Australia, 1942 - includes instrument panel markings and waterline stripes for floats.
